Digital day register for milk collection centres

The day register is the centre’s proof of what was collected today - usually split by morning and evening shift. When it is late or incomplete, the plant office cannot close the day.

What a day register must show

• Date and shift
• Supplier code / name
• Litres and quality (FAT, SNF, CLR as you use them)
• Amount from your rate chart
• Shift and day totals

Hand registers make end-of-shift matching slow. Torn slips go missing before posting.

Digital day register advantages

• Totals ready when the shift ends
• Same data feeds the supplier ledger and 10-day billing
• Managers can review after sync without waiting for a photo of a notebook

Weak internet centres

1. Load suppliers and your FAT/SNF chart
2. Collect morning and evening in software
3. Close the shift with the day register view
4. Let the office use the same account for reports and billing
